I present: Droptine Traditions, of which I founded in 1985. My services here cater to archers and archery hunters, primarily traditional archery but maintaining a diverse atmosphere.

“Drop” in and set a spell. No Red Bull here, just meat and potatoes “Droptineism”

Just a little bio: I am 49 year old, father of 5 children, married, grandfather, and live in Maryland. Professionally, I am an insurance adjuster for State Farm of 10 years. Prior to that, I retired as a graphic imaging engineer from the Commercial Printing Industry after 25 years of service.

I make, repair, refinish, appraise, buy and sell traditional archery equipment from the 20th century and earlier. The website of which I created in 2006 caters to all walks of life in a sea of diversity from hunters to non hunters to race car drivers, to home makers.

I am an avid outdoorsman, bow hunter, gun hunter, and conservationist of 35 years. I have hunted extensively in North America, and have also hunted infinity and beyond.

In my spare time, I am a freelance hunting journalist, artist, and photographer. My art and stories have been published numerous times since the 1970’s. At present I am working on a book of fictional and humorous short stories to be published in 2010.

I have been affiliated with the NRA, Professional Bowhunters Association, The Pope & Young Club, The Boone & Crockett Club, The Safari Club International, The Maryland, New Jersey, Alaska, Montana, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin traditional and modern bow hunting associations.

I am the Carroll County, Maryland representative for the FHFH (Farmers and Hunters feeding the Hungry Foundation). Further, I am the President of the Society of Traditional Bowmen, Brand X Bowhunters Club, Marshall Run Hunt Club and have held office in numerous statewide organizations past and present. Most recently I founded and established the Maryland Bowhunters Hall of Fame.

In closing, my future plans are to stay as active physically and mentally as possible in order to do my part in monitoring, educating and protecting the history of archery and legacy of all hunters to be promoted and nurtured by future generations.
